Whale watching when visiting the atlantic coast in Uruguay is a fantastic experience. The Franca Whales come from the argentinian Patagonia and pass over Punta del Este every year between September and November on their way to Brazil. Punta del Diablo is another perfect spot to take this experience.

In Punta del Este, if you're adventurous, the company Calypso offers boat trips to photograph the whales. I can't tell you exactly what the cost to take a tour is right now but if needed we can get it for you.

If you're already in Punta, Calypso is in Rambla and the 21st street, near the port.
