Colonia del Sacramento on a golf cart was a great experience, due I'm not the best driver and there are lots of hidden places to discover. Colonia del Sacramento is enjoyable at any time of the year. If you have luck, a sunny day will help you out on winter days (July/August).
The historical neighbourhood really amazed me. We stayed at an old fashioned Inn, what makes the experience even better. Old stone paved streets, riverwalks, romantic sunsets, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and many arts & crafts shops make from Colonia del Sacramento one the most interesting destinations in Uruguay.
Colonia del Sacramento is a Portuguese city from the WVII century declared Historical patrimony of humanity by Unesco.
